Here We "Snow" Again!

With Spring only weeks away, winter is still holding on strong, at least for today anyway.  We are getting our second and biggest snowfall this season.  

Lily Grace and Darby couldn't be more excited.  Wrapped in layers like the kid from A Christmas Story, Lily Grace stayed outside until we had to drag her in.  (along with a promise of hot cocoa to warm up of course)

Happy Birthday Gran! And Lily???

This past weekend, Gran flew in for a visit.  We surprised her with an early 60th birthday party.  Lily Grace was so excited.  She loved helping to make the banner.  She contributed the handprints, smiley and all the a's, i's and y's.

Gran was very surprised and Lily Grace was quick to help her open her gifts.

Gran returned the surprise with a trip to Toys R Us, where she purchased Lily Grace a new sleeping bag (to use for Friday night popcorn and movie night), a cute tote and DVD.  And she would have kept going if mommy hadn't declared it more than enough. 

This leaves me to ask, who's birthday was it??????  HA! HA! HA!

A New Space

This weekend, we completed the sewing/crafting/wrapping that just happens to have a treadmill in it room.  Lily Grace was a wonderful help and loved painting the walls.  Thanks to you too Daddy.  You jumped in without complaint and worked hard to make it just right.  

I love my new space!  Now let's see how much sewing it can inspire. 

Hearts + Hugs= Fun!

Lily Grace had friends over today to celebrate Valentine's Day.  They enjoyed crafts, yummy food, exchanging cards and above all, some fun play time among friends.

It's always a lot of fun when we get together.  You can never be certain if  the squeals and giggles are coming from the kids or the moms.

Sew Cute!

Being the mom of the cutest little girl in the world, has really sparked my interest in sewing.  I asked for a new sewing machine for Valentine's Day and enrolled in sewing classes at Shappley. Today, I sewed this cute little A-line jumper.  It was a lot of fun and very rewarding.

I finally got to wear "ponies"!
