From Pumpkin to Jack-o-Lantern

On Sunday afternoon, Lily Grace and Daddy carved her pumpkin.  She chose the type of face it would have.  (a smiley face, of course)  They had a great time!  I had fun watching Daddy try and please every request his assistant made.  They were too cute together!

They are very proud of their Jack-O Lantern, who Lily named, Smiley Pumpkin.  

Beavers

Today, Lily Grace attended the Raindrops Club out at the Nature Center.  The topic was Beavers.  She was able to see a mouse, who is also a member of the rodent family, take a nature walk and  feed  turtles and fish in the same waters that some beavers call home.  Lily Grace also enjoyed petting a beaver tail and fur, as well as picking up sticks just like beavers do. Our visit ended with the construction of her own Beaver Lodge.  

The Nature Center also has their Scarecrow Display up.  Lily Grace is really in to scarecrows right now, so she was all to happy to have her picture made with one of them.

Dress Up

While Darby enjoyed a nap this afternoon, Horse got the pleasure of standing in for her during dress up.  Too cute!
