Happy Birthday Lily Grace!

Today, Lily Grace celebrated her 3rd birthday.  Her party theme this year was "Butterfly Princess."  The girls looked adorable in their tutus and butterfly wings and the boys were quite cute in their capes and crowns.
Lily Grace had a wonderful time.  Having her friends here to be a part of her special day made it all the better.  We kicked the party off with The Very Hungry Caterpillar story and a butterfly game.  The kids then created their own butterflies.
We all ate some yummy cake and after the gifts were opened, enjoyed a beautiful time outside watching the kids play.
I hope the wonderful memories today provide Lily Grace with a special feeling in her heart tonight.  I know that Matt and I are deeply touched.  We are so blessed to share in her precious little life.
Thanks again to everyone for helping to make Lily Grace feel like a princess today.  We are blessed!

ALMOST 3!

Today, we officially kicked off Lily Grace's birthday weekend.  It's hard to believe that she will be three years old tomorrow.  We have, do and always will cherish each precious moment of her life.
This year, her actual birthday falls on the day of her party.  With time of the essence on that day, we treated her to breakfast in bed this morning rather than tomorrow morning.  She was also surprised with one of her gifts from daddy and I.
Lily Grace loves capes and now she has her very own.  It's even stamped with an L.  Daddy and I have had the pleasure of watching "Super Lily" (self named) fly all over the house.
This evening, beaming with prides, she slipped on her number 3 shirt and was treated to dinner at her favorite restaurant.
Tomorrow is "Party Day" and we are all excited.  Be sure and check back for some cute pics.

Summer Preview

Lily Grace loves leotards and swimsuits.  We haven't even hit 80 degrees yet, but she has already been asking for and describing what kind of suits she wants.
You can imagine how excited she was to find both of these in her Easter basket.  She had to try them both on immediately and was all to happy to pose.
