Happy Father's Day!

I remember well before Lily Grace came into our lives how scared Matt was of becoming a dad. He had never been around small children much and openly admitted being nervous.

While perhaps he's had awkward moments with regard to parenthood (and we all have) he's taken to it like he was born to do it. He truly is a wonderful father. He can often be found explaining for the hundredth time why you can't just climb all the ladders in Chutes and Ladders, constructing the next biggest tower with blocks, being jumped on, rode on or dressed up to serve as a dance partner, all while taking in each moment. In a nutshell, he is always giving of himself to Lily Grace. Nothing is too embarrassing, silly or demanding, regardless of how tired he may be at the end of a day.

He also works to support our family and provide Lily Grace with a stay at home mommy. I am most blessed and grateful to him for that as well.

Matt you are a wonderful daddy and I know that sometimes living in a house of girls isn't easy, but you manage and makes us feel as though there is nothing you would rather be doing. We love you!!!!!!!!!!!
