We traveled to Auburn, Alabama last Saturday to watch cousin Jessica graduate from Auburn University. She graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts. We had a great time getting together with family before the big event. Lily Grace was smothered with attention and all the better coming from Jessica.
Lily Grace learned a lot from that family dinner:
- Cats don't like to be cornered, taken for a walk on a pretend leash and constantly groped. They let you know this with a few good swats. We learned that Lily Grace is fearless and will go back for more if it involves Velvet the cat.
-Aunt Pam makes the best rolls.
-It is possible for great grandma Honey to learn to bump knuckles/high five.
-Uncle Jimmy gives good bear hugs, even with a beard.
-It is possible to teach boys about Fancy Nancy. Having Jessica's boyfriend, Blake call her "posh" is prideful proof.
-The more family the better. Having a 13 year old cousin of a cousin entertain you is beyond great. Thanks McKayla!
-Sometimes the best hairdressers are the unexpected ones. Thanks to cousin Zane for keeping Lily Grace hairbow cute. And for teaching her to text????? HA!
Thanks for a wonderful time and including us in your special day Jessica. We are so proud of you!
