Lily Grace is having quite the busy weekend. She started soccer at our church and is having a lot fun. ( She was kind enough to yell over to me on the sidelines about 20 minutes in to practice to let me know that she was sweating and in need of water. Imagine that! HA!) She is officially a member of the purple team. She looks so cute. And yes, that is a hair bow. It makes you play better. HA! HA!
She and good friend Claire competed in our town's Small Fry Triathlon. The race started with a 25 yard run, followed by a 65 yard bike and ended with a 25 yard swim. (a run through a sprinkler) Each athlete was allowed one "personal trainer" on the course with them. Thanks daddy for taking one for the team! She completed the course in true Lily Grace style, not in too big of a hurry and some conversation in between. :-)
Trophies were handed out at the end of the race, followed by snacks and face painting.
